Meet and greet at Suvanabhumi Airport with a warm welcome, then you will be escorted to the selected Hotel or Resort and the rest of the day will be free at your leisure.
Visit Grand Palace, the sign of Thailand and was the residence for Kings and royal family, the trip will visit a group of the throne halls with the vast area of this palace complex. You will find the perfect combination of Europe and Thai architecture from many spot in the area. In the same compound you will be visited Wat Phra Kaew, an unquestionably one of the wonders of the world today. Within its enormous grounds is the most exotic Buddhist temple and at the heart of the temple itself is a fabulous Buddha image, carved from one piece of Jade, which is the holiest and most revered of religious objects in Thailand called Phra Kaew (or Emerald Buddha).
Discover the ancient capital of Siam (80kilometers north of Bangkok), Ayutthaya was so well endowed with temples that sunlight reflecting off their gilt decoration was said dazzle from three miles away; including Wat Mongkol Bobit, Wat Mahathat, Wat Prasi Sanphet and Royal Palace. Founded in 1350, Ayutthaya is a city of canals and temples, built at the junction of three rivers, canals cut into the landscape made Ayutthaya an island protected by fortified walls. Today it is a country town with an amazing collection of temple ruins and relics and UNESCO claimed that Historic City of Ayutthaya and Associated Historic Towns is one of the world heritages in 1991. Then, heading north to visit another World Heritage Site of Sukhothai Historical Park (founded in 13th century). The named itself means “Dawn of Happiness” and in 1833 King Mongkut found the inscription which stated that Thai Script was created by King Ramhamhaeng. In the area you may found the site of several temples together with the royal palace boundary. After that, continue the trip to Pitsanuloke and overnight.
Visit Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mhathat or Wat Yai with the status of the Buddha named Phra Bhddha Chinnarat situated in the viharn is Pitsanuloke’s most venerated. Continue to Lampang and visit “Wat Phrathat Lampangluang”, the most beautiful and well preserved monument and its’ compound in Lanna style and enjoyable drive up through the scenery in an atmosphere of tranquillity to Chiang Mai City.
Visit Chiang Mai City Arts - Cultural Centre; discover the true identity of Chiang Mai, understand its history, customs, and way of life, arts and culture. The city tour will take you around the moat and the old city. Visit Phra Sing Temple, the incredible Viharn Laicome - Bot (an wooden old-Lanna style structure) with their unique architecture and mural wall painting. Wat Chadi Luang, famous for its gigantic ruined Chedi. Wat Chiang Man, contain the revered Buddha image; Phra Setang Khamani, suppo rted to be very ancient - endowed with rainmaking. After dinner, you may continue with explore Chiang Mai night life on your own pace.
Start the day with the trip to the elephant camp (Chiang Dao Elephant Camp). Before the activities start, you will be able to see elephant daily bathing in the river. Then, the demonstration of how to use the elephant in the logging trade in the past and the elephant’s intelligent will start (1 hour). After that, you will be able to experience on the elephant ride through the jungle and in to the river. Relax with the bamboo raft down the river along the pure scenic (around 45 mins – 1 hour) and then drive to the orchid farm to see more than 500 species of beautiful orchid. In the evening, your dinner will be served in a northern cuisine of “Khan Toke Style” with cultural performances.
Visit Doi Suthep Temple, a magnificent temple on the hilltop and overview of Chiang Mai City can be seen from the terrace. After the temple of Doi Suthep, continue with the local truck climbing up the mountain to one of Hmong Hill Tribe Village known as White Hmong or Hmong Khun Chang Kien, where the nature still meet the local cultural and lifestyle (the coffee or tea with some biscuit will be served at the lovely coffee house in the area of Coffee Plantation). After lunch, spend your afternoon with a tour to the colorful marketplace of Bosarng and the silk-producing town of Sankampaeng where you can watch craftsmen producing their colorful creation. This marketplace offers the walking tour of Home Industries Village, boasting a plethora of intricate fabric, wood carving, umbrella making, silver ware, lacquer ware and other gems of Thai handicraft.
Proceed to Chiang Rai Province by driving along the beautiful valley and mountain road. Take a break at the hot spring for morning coffee and then continue to Chiang Rai City to visit Pra Kaew Temple, where the Emerald Buddha was first enshrined. Trip to Chiang Rai will not be completed without a trip to Thailand northern most frontiers and the border between Thailand - Myanmar in Mae Sai District and the legendary Golden Triangle (the junction of Myanmar, Thailand and Laos). Visit Hall of Opium to understand opium circle and drug trade including the history of the opium in South East Asia by the great exhibition and display with fully light and sound system.
Breakfast at the hotel and then, visit some major ruins site of Chiang Sean Ancient City, the major trading place for the region in seventh century, on the bank of Khong River. The city also was the home town of King Meng Rai who was built Chiang Mai. Drive to Chiang Rai Airport for the flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and the rest of the day relax or explore the city with your own pace.
After breakfast, relax at your leisure and transfer to the airport for your return trip home.
